Request Account & Data Deletion – Weeklo
Last updated: 25 Jul 2026
This page explains how you can request deletion of your Weeklo account and/or any associated synced data without deleting your account. Weeklo is published by Unique Pixel Studio.
Important: Weeklo stores data locally on your device by default. If you enabled cloud sync and created an account, synced data is stored in Firebase (Firestore). You have complete control to delete your data only, or delete your entire account and data together.
How to delete data or account in the app
You can manage and delete your data directly within the Weeklo app at any time:
- Open the Weeklo App and ensure you are signed in to your account.
- Go to Settings → Data & Backup.
- Tap Delete Account or Data (Note: You must be signed in to see account and cloud data deletion options. If you are signed out, you will see Delete Local Data instead).
- Select "Delete Data Only" if you wish to permanently erase all your cloud and local planners, tasks, and notes while keeping your account active.
- Select "Delete Account & Data" if you wish to permanently delete your account and all associated cloud and local data.
How to request deletion via Email
If you no longer have access to the app, you can request data or account deletion by emailing our support team:
- Email:
support@weeklo.app
- Subject line:
Data Deletion Request or Account Deletion Request
- Include: The email address used for your Weeklo account, and whether you want to delete data only or your entire account.
We will confirm your request and process the deletion within 30 days.
What we will delete
If you have a Weeklo account and/or use cloud sync, we will delete:
- Your Weeklo account (Firebase Authentication record)
- All synced planner data in Firestore (to-dos, tasks, lists, notes, labels, timestamps)
- Any sync metadata tied to your account (e.g., last sync time, device links)
Note: Data stored only locally on your device is not transmitted to us and is not accessible by us. You can delete local data by uninstalling the app or using the in-app deletion button.
What may be retained (and why)
Some data may be retained only where required for legal, security, or billing reasons:
- Purchase and subscription records (e.g., Google Play / App Store transactions for Weeklo Pro or Ultra) retained by Google/Apple and/or us as required by tax and accounting laws.
- Fraud prevention and security logs retained for a limited time where legally permissible.
We do not retain your synced planner content after account deletion.
Processing time
- We aim to complete deletion within 30 days of verifying your request.
- In rare cases (e.g., complex backups or legal holds), it may take up to 60 days. We’ll notify you if that happens.
Verification
To protect your privacy, we may ask you to verify your email or provide additional information confirming account ownership before proceeding.
Third-party services involved
- Firebase (Google Cloud): Authentication and Firestore database (data is encrypted in transit and at rest)
- Google Play Billing & RevenueCat: Payment and subscription status verification
Where applicable, these providers process data in accordance with their own privacy terms and applicable law.
Cancelling subscriptions
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your Weeklo Pro subscription. To stop future charges, manage your subscription via Google Play → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions.
